On Wednesday 6th June, Room 12 presented their speeches about discovery. I did my speech about Thomas Edison and how he made the light bulb. 3 things I thought I did well for my speech was... I spoke loud and clear, I used eye contact and I used props to entertain my audience. 2 improvements for my speech was I am quiet shy but I was confident to speak in front of my whole class, I put a lot of effort to it. 1 thing I learnt from my speech was that Thomas Edison wasn't the first person to create the light bulb but he made a better version, one that could replace the gassy lamps.
